Bardzo polecam Doktora Jacka. Już wcześniej w innym gabinecie bywałam u doktora i za każdym razem jestem bardzo zadowolona. Doktor wiecznie uśmiechnięty! A wypełnienie zęba - szybko i bez bólu!

What patients write (in Polish)

Do dr.

Ogromna wiedza i doświadczenie. Serdecznie polecam!

Zdecydowanie polecam!

SCOPE

What we do in general dentistry

In general dentistry we deal with what patients most often come to the dentist for – from check-ups and treating decay, through root canal treatment and hygiene appointments, to extractions.

Check-up and treatment plan

We start by examining your teeth and gums. If we need more detailed diagnostics, we take the appropriate X-rays.

Then we talk about what we found. We tell you what needs treating, what can wait and what is enough to keep an eye on. If there is more treatment to do, we also agree its order and the expected cost.

If everything is fine – we simply tell you so.

Treating decay

A small cavity does not have to mean a big treatment. If the decay needs removing, we clean the tooth and rebuild it with composite, caring for both its function and its look.

We work under magnification – with loupes and a microscope. This lets us assess the tooth more accurately and rebuild it more precisely.

We match the colour of the filling to your natural teeth, in the back teeth too.

Root canal under a microscope

If inflammation or infection reaches the inside of the tooth, root canal treatment may be needed.

We carry out the treatment under the magnification of a microscope, which helps us find, shape and fill the canals more accurately – especially when their anatomy is complicated.

Root canal treatment – from 1,000 zł.

Repeat root canal treatment – from 1,200 zł.

After root canal treatment the tooth still has to be rebuilt properly. So the total cost also depends on whether it needs a filling, a restoration with a glass-fibre post or a crown.

Hygiene

Hygiene appointments are carried out by our qualified dental hygienists.

A standard appointment includes scaling, sandblasting, polishing and fluoride. We remove calculus, plaque and surface stains, and along the way we look at the state of your gums, teeth and earlier restorations.

Extractions

If a tooth can no longer be saved, we remove it.

But we do not stop at the procedure itself. If needed, we can discuss straight away how to replace the missing tooth – an implant with a crown, a bridge or another solution – and the next stages of treatment.

Splints for teeth grinding

If you clench or grind your teeth, you may need a splint worn at night. Its job is to limit overloading and protect your teeth and earlier restorations.

Whether a splint is needed and which solution is right, we decide after the examination.

FIRST VISIT

What the first visit looks like

We start with a conversation and an examination. We look at your teeth and gums and ask about your symptoms and expectations. If we need additional diagnostics, we take the appropriate X-ray.

Then we explain what we found and what it means.

If treatment is needed, we present the possible solutions, their order and the expected cost. You do not have to decide straight away – first you learn where you stand, and then we agree the next steps together.

If it has been a long time since your last visit

That is no reason for stress or for explaining yourself.

We can start with the examination and diagnostics alone. First we want to know what we are dealing with, and only then decide what is worth doing.

If nothing needs treating, we will simply tell you so and suggest a date for your next check-up.

DECAY

When decay has to be treated, and when watching is enough

Decay does not always hurt. A change can go without any symptoms for a long time, which is why it is worth having your teeth checked even when nothing is bothering you.

During the check-up we assess your teeth, gums and earlier fillings. We also look at the places where new changes may appear. If the clinical picture does not give us the full answer, we may recommend the appropriate X-ray.

Not every change means treatment has to start straight away.

We tell you plainly what needs treating now, what we can keep an eye on and what is worth checking again after a while.

The earlier we find a problem, the better the chance that treatment will be simpler and will keep more of your own tooth.

FILLINGS

What having a filling is like

Composite filling – from 450 zł. Anaesthetic included in the price.

If the tooth needs treating, we first remove the affected tissue and then rebuild the missing part with composite.

We match the colour of the filling to your natural teeth so that the restoration is as invisible as possible.

We work under magnification, with loupes and a microscope. Finally we check your bite and polish the filling.

You do not always need an anaesthetic. If you would rather start without it, we can do that. If it turns out to be needed during the treatment, we give it at no extra cost.

What does it cost?

Composite filling – from 450 zł.

The final price depends on the size and extent of the cavity. We tell you before we start.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

Root canal treatment under a microscope

The canals of a tooth are very small and can follow a complicated course. They can be narrow, curved or have an unusual anatomy.

That is why we work under the magnification of a microscope during treatment. It lets us see the inside of the tooth more precisely, find the canals and shape and fill them more accurately.

The price depends mainly on the number of canals and how complicated the case is.

Root canal treatment

  • 1 canal – from 1,000 zł
  • 2 canals – from 1,200 zł
  • 3 canals – from 1,500 zł
  • 4 or more canals – from 1,700 zł
  • repeat root canal treatment – from 1,200 zł

After root canal treatment the tooth also needs to be rebuilt properly. So the total cost of treating the tooth covers the root canal treatment and the restoration that follows – a filling, a restoration with a glass-fibre post or a crown, depending on the state of the tooth.

Before we start, we tell you the expected scope and the total cost.

COMFORT

Comfort during treatment

We want treatment to be as calm and comfortable as possible.

If you need an anaesthetic, we give it at no extra charge – the anaesthetic is included in the price of the treatment.

If you would rather start without an anaesthetic, we can do that too. If it turns out to be needed during the visit, we give it then.

We work under magnification – with loupes and a microscope. It helps us work more precisely and notice details that cannot always be seen with the naked eye.

If you are anxious about the dentist or it has been a long time since your last visit, tell us before treatment starts. We can adjust the pace of the visit and take breaks when you need them.

What else we can plan

Not every patient comes to the dentist only because something hurts. Sometimes a question about how the teeth look comes up at the check-up too.

If a chip, worn edges, a gap between your teeth, discolouration or the shape of your teeth bothers you, we can talk about the possible solutions.

You do not have to decide on treatment straight away. First we assess what can really be done and what is worth doing.
