tooth and wisdom tooth removal
54 Bokserska St, unit U1, 02-690 Warsaw, Mokotów
We treat removing a tooth as the last resort. If the tooth can still be successfully treated and rebuilt, we look for that option first. If there is no longer any chance of saving it, we remove it under local anaesthetic and talk straight away about what comes next – whether the best solution is an implant, a bridge or leaving the space unfilled.
With wisdom teeth, we look above all at their position, their condition and whether they are actually causing a problem.

Tooth extraction from 600 zł, wisdom tooth from 1 000 zł, anaesthetic included. Mokotów, 54 Bokserska St, unit U1.

Do dr.
Serdecznie polecam Pana Doktora!

Ogromna wiedza i doświadczenie. Serdecznie polecam!

A wypełnienie zęba - szybko i bez bólu!
Polecam Doktora Jacka!
When does a tooth need to come out?
We do not remove a tooth just because it is badly damaged. First we check whether it can still be saved.
If root canal treatment and a rebuild give a good chance of keeping the tooth, it is usually worth treating. Your own tooth is usually the best long-term solution.
We consider removal when the tooth is so damaged that it cannot be properly rebuilt, has a cracked root, or its prognosis is poor or uncertain.
A tooth that can no longer be rebuilt
Sometimes there is simply too little of the tooth left for a lasting rebuild. In that situation further treatment may not make sense.
A wisdom tooth that causes trouble
A wisdom tooth can come through at an angle, press on the neighbouring tooth or stay partly under the gum. It can then cause pain, swelling and recurring inflammation.
Not every wisdom tooth needs removing – first we check how it lies and whether it really is a problem.
An impacted tooth
Some teeth do not come through properly and stay partly or fully in the bone. In that case we check their exact position on a 3D CT scan before the procedure.
A tooth that has to come out before an implant
If there is a tooth that can no longer be saved where we are planning an implant, it has to be removed first.
Whenever conditions allow, we place the implant at the same visit – and most often that is what happens. We call this immediate implantation.
Does every wisdom tooth have to come out?
No. Simply having a wisdom tooth is not a reason to remove it.
If a wisdom tooth has grown in properly, is healthy and can be cleaned thoroughly, there is usually no need to remove it.
When may a wisdom tooth need removing?
Most often when it:
- comes through with difficulty and causes pain or swelling,
- often has inflamed gum around it,
- is badly damaged by decay,
- presses on the neighbouring second molar,
- sits so that it is hard to clean properly,
- makes planned orthodontic treatment harder or impossible.
We make the final decision after an examination and a look at the X-ray.
When can a wisdom tooth stay?
If it is healthy, has grown in properly and causes no problems, there is no need to remove it just because it is a wisdom tooth.
The same goes for a wisdom tooth that lies deep in the bone and causes no symptoms – sometimes the best solution is simply to keep an eye on it.
How much does wisdom tooth removal cost?
Wisdom tooth extraction – from 1 000 zł.
Impacted tooth extraction – from 1 200 zł.
The price depends on how the tooth lies and how difficult it will be to remove.
If a CT scan is needed and you do not have a recent one, we add its cost separately.
What does a tooth extraction look like?
The whole procedure is done under local anaesthetic. You should not feel pain – you may, however, feel pressure or a pushing sensation.
Before the procedure we check the tooth and its position. For more difficult extractions, especially wisdom teeth and impacted teeth, we take a 3D CT scan. It lets us see the tooth's roots exactly and where it lies in relation to the neighbouring structures.
If the tooth is visible in the mouth and can be removed safely and simply, the procedure can be very short.
If the tooth is under the gum or its position makes access difficult, a small cut in the gum may be needed. In those cases we also place stitches.
After the procedure you get clear instructions from us for the first days of healing.
The anaesthetic is included in the price of the procedure.
How much does a tooth extraction cost?
The price depends on which tooth we remove and how difficult the procedure is. That is why we give prices "from".
Bone augmentation is not a standard part of a tooth extraction. We do it only when it is needed, e.g. because an implant is planned. If it is necessary, its cost is added separately.
If you have your own recent X-ray or CT scan, bring it with you – a new scan may not be needed.

Full price listWhat happens after a tooth extraction?
For a few days the place where the tooth was may be tender, and swelling is normal, especially after a more difficult procedure.
The first 24 hours
In the first 24 hours the most important thing is not to disturb the clot that forms where the tooth was removed. It protects the wound and supports proper healing.
So after the procedure, remember to:
- not rinse your mouth vigorously,
- not smoke,
- avoid alcohol and strenuous physical exercise,
- avoid very hot food and drinks,
- eat carefully so as not to irritate the site where the tooth was removed.
After the procedure you will get detailed instructions from us, tailored to the type of extraction and how the procedure went.
When to contact the practice?
If the bleeding does not stop despite pressing on a gauze pad, the pain clearly gets worse instead of easing, you develop a fever, or the swelling starts to make it hard to open your mouth, contact us.
What next for the space after the tooth?
Removing the tooth is only the first stage. If the tooth was needed for proper biting, it is also worth thinking about replacing it.
Most often we consider:
An implant with a crown
The implant replaces the tooth's root, and we make a crown on it. Often the implant can be placed straight away, during the extraction.
This is not always possible, though. It depends among other things on the condition of the bone, the conditions where the tooth was, and whether there is inflammation.
A bridge
A bridge can be a good solution, especially if the teeth next to the gap also need rebuilding with crowns.
Does every gap need filling?
Not always. It all depends on which tooth was removed, what your bite is like and what the remaining teeth are like.
If replacement is advisable, it is best planned before the tooth is removed.

The most common questions
Does a tooth extraction hurt?
It should not. The procedure is done under local anaesthetic. During the extraction you may feel pressure or a pushing sensation, but you should not feel pain. Tenderness and swelling may last a few days afterwards.
Does every wisdom tooth have to come out?
No. If a wisdom tooth is healthy, has grown in properly and can be cleaned well, there is no reason to remove it just because it is a wisdom tooth. Removal may be needed when it causes pain, inflammation or decay, presses on the second molar or gets in the way of orthodontic treatment.
How much does wisdom tooth removal cost?
From 1 000 zł. If it is an impacted tooth, the price starts at 1 200 zł. The anaesthetic is included. If a CT scan is needed and you do not have a recent one, it costs extra.
How much does an ordinary tooth extraction cost?
From 600 zł, including the anaesthetic.
Can an implant be placed straight away?
Often, yes. If the conditions where the tooth was removed are right, the implant can be placed at the same visit. This is not always possible – the decision depends among other things on the condition of the bone and whether there is inflammation.
Is a CT scan needed before an extraction?
Not always for a simple extraction. For wisdom teeth, impacted teeth and more complicated cases, a 3D CT scan lets us assess the tooth's position precisely and plan the procedure. If you have a recent CT scan, bring it with you.
Will I get a sick note after the extraction?
If it is needed after the procedure, we can issue a sick note. How long it is depends on the type of procedure and how you feel.
Who removes teeth at allsmiles?
Surgical procedures are performed by Mikołaj Kisiel, DDS, and Daniel Domański, DDS, MSc. For more difficult wisdom teeth and impacted teeth, we decide the scope of the procedure individually after an examination and diagnostics.
Do you remove teeth under the NFZ (Polish national health fund)?
No. allsmiles is a private practice and procedures are paid for.
