How they run treatment
He begins every treatment with a conversation. He wants to get to know the patient, their needs, their expectations and what matters most to them. Only then, together with the examination and diagnostics, does he present the possible solutions and choose the best course of treatment with the patient.
In implantology he pays particular attention to planning. Before the procedure he analyses the 3D CT scan carefully and plans the position of the implant with the future crown and the whole bite in mind. This way the treatment does not end with placing the implant – from the start it is clear what it is meant to lead to.
He guides the patient through the successive stages of treatment – from the first diagnostics, through the procedure and the prosthetic restoration, to follow-up visits. He makes sure the whole plan is coherent and that the patient knows what will happen at each stage.
He does not hide the limitations and risks of treatment either. He talks about the factors that can affect the success of an implant, including smoking, and if in a given situation it is safer to postpone the procedure or choose another solution, he says so plainly.
He also works in orthodontics. This lets him look at treatment more broadly and plan its order properly – in some cases straightening the teeth first and only then the implant, the prosthetic restoration or improving the look of the smile.
Education and training
He graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw in 2015. He is currently specialising in orthodontics, steadily developing his knowledge of both orthodontics and comprehensive treatment planning.
He gained his experience in implantology on the Practiculum Implantologii at the European Dental Implant Institute in Gdańsk, which he completed in 2017–2018. From the start of his career he has paid particular attention to careful diagnostics and the planning of implant treatment.
He developed his knowledge of orthodontics on a master's programme in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics in Barcelona in 2022–2023, and then at the Orthodontics Academy in Żyrardów, where he trained in 2022–2024.
He keeps extending his skills on courses run by recognised specialists in soft-tissue surgery and gum aesthetics, smile design and the planning of comprehensive prosthetic and cosmetic treatment, including implant cases. The specialists whose courses and experience he has learned from include Paulo Carvalho and Ricardo Kern.
He combines knowledge of orthodontics and implantology, so he can look at treatment not only through a single procedure but through the whole plan leading to a functional and aesthetic result.
